Our Bantam BB team travelled to Markham to play in the Markham-Stoufville Bantam Classic tournament.

The team finished 3-0 in round robin play with a combined 10 GF vs. 1 GA. Mississauga, North Durham and Oshawa fell victim to a Devilettes team that doesnt't back down from anyone.

Early Sunday morning the Scarborough Sharks were next. A tough semi final game, with the Devilettes winning 1-0 in OT

On to the finals against Waterloo! Playing them for the first time this year and currently in a first place dog fight in league play, the team expected a tough game. After 3 periods of play the game was tied 2-2. A 3 on 3 -5 minute over time period solved nothing. Shootout was next and after the mandatory 3 shooters the game was still tied…finally on the 5th shooter the London Devilettes Bantam BB team was victorious and came home with the gold medal.

The team motto is "Compete!" and that they did! An exhilarating victory!
